In this challenge, we will perfect how to handle positioning and location in AutoCAD.

This session will require the Object SNAP mode. The exercise is easy, but you must be cautious while working on the project.

It will be helpful to be able to use the OFFSET command and create a circle using the features Tan, Tan, and Radius.

You need to give the red part an OFFSET of 10 units now, and you will end up with the following.

I imagine it is all clear now. You undoubtedly know what to do next to complete this. Do not forget the two FILLET of R5 located below the two circles.

  2. Draw the 20 unit segment 97 units away from the center of the circle.
    Use the Points A, B and the TAN TAN RADIUS feature of the CIRCLE
    command to draw the arc.

  3. im still confused about the 150 bow,even trying to use tan,tan,radius the bow wont fit perfect into the points A & B,i tried moving the circle manually but that wasnt really acurate.
    so if u could give me one more hint that would be nice
